Today in Science

Two awesome science bits in the news today.

1. CERN thinks they may have recorded a neutron moving faster than the speed of light, which is kind of a huge big deal because it would blow Einstein’s notion that light speed is the ultimate top speed anywhere ever out of the water. Wow.

2. Scientists at UC Berkley have used MRI images to reconstruct an image of the video that a person was watching. Which means that, in effect, they could make pictures of the things that you’re seeing in your head. And here I thought hippies were useless. That’s scary awesome!
