Holiday Memory

Today on Culture Brats we list the best Christmas movies of the 1980s. Which reminds me of a story.

We used to have a family tradition of going out to a Chinese Buffet before Christmas Eve mass. We did it a number of years in a row. Great great food. One year, the owner and his family came out, stood in a line by our table, and sang “Deck the Halls” complete with the fa rah rah rah rahs from A Christmas Story. I just about fell out of my chair I was laughing so hard. After they were done the owner said “we love that movie too.”

You’ll shoot your eye out Ralphie!
