My mom called today with the test results from Julia’s biopsy. It’s benign! They are pre-cancer cells that were detected early. The vet thinks that the aggressive early removal kept anything from developing or spreading so our pup will be ok! Yay!

I’m glad your pup is OK! That’s always scary. One of my cats had tumors and he needed radiation. Apparently, they can get them from their vaccine shots. I hear most vets have switched away from those type of shots nowadays.
The vet told my mom that the type of cancer that she thought it was is only found in females who breed. If she’d have been fixed young it wouldn’t have been an issue. Kinda interesting.
