I have The Today Show on the TV (which, by the way, is kind of awful) but in passing they mentioned that a dead capuchin monkey in the Denver zoo that tested positive for…. bubonic plague! They also have some dead squirrels and rabbits infected there, too. What?? I didn’t know that was active in the US. It’s very treatable now among humans and animals.

Oh my god, 1 boy in NM,USA died and his sister is in serious condition after being diagnosed to have contracted with Bubonic Plague Bacteria.
